Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter

Mortgage Insource Services, LLC is now hiring a full-time Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter. This position is work from home and full time. Candidate should be motivated to do fast-paced work from a remote environment and underwrite a pipeline of loans for mortgage borrowers. Responsibilities

  • Underwrite mortgage loans to verify for completeness, accuracy, and compliance in paperless environment
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date and sound knowledge of multiple loan product guidelines offered by the company, DU/LP guidelines, and risk assessment tools used to decision mortgage loans
  • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing various applicant documents, e.g. final reports, tax returns, credit reports, etc., to ensure all necessary information is included for approval
  • Identify additional conditions as needed to ensure a viable credit decision
  • Communicate regularly with related lending professionals, such as the sales team, loan processors, and management, to secure all required documents
  • Ability to function in an ever-changing environment and work across all business channels in Underwriting (Retail/CC/Wholesale) as needed
  • Knowledge of Mortgage Insurance (MI) Guidelines
  • Working knowledge of various fraud tools

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Loan Processor

Mortgage Insource Services, LLC is now hiring a full-time loan processor. This position is work from home and full time. Loan processors are responsible for evaluating, authorizing approval or deny applications for people or businesses. Loan processors act as a liaison between customers and financial institutions who assist qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.

Skills/Experience

  • High school diploma, GED, equivalent certification, or military experience
  • Minimum 4 years of recent experience as Loan Processor is required
  • Must have experience working remote
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Accurately document all loan files
  • Knowledge of the laws governing access to public and private records particularly GLBA
  • Strong computer skills; Must be able to move through the LOS system and other programs
  • Time management: so that the file moves smoothly and does not lose a rate lock.
  • Knowledge of TRID, APR, interest rates and disclosure/re-disclosure time lines
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with Caylx, emcompass and mortgagebot a plus
  • Perform any additional duties/activities assigned or needed by the business
